“We had the pleasure of working with Doug while upgrading the accessibility of the office. Not only did he donate his time and expertise to the project but he took the time to meet with each staff member to ensure the upgrades worked for everyone. Doug was professional and thorough throughout the entirety of the project. His ability to think outside the box and find successful solutions showed the wide knowledge he has of the barriers that the built environment can have on persons with disabilities and the larger community. We hope to have the opportunity to work with him again.”

Victoria-Airport

“Victoria Airport Authority had the pleasure of working with Doug and Copley Inclusive Solutions on two initiatives at the Victoria International Airport (YYJ).  The first was, Gold Certification from the Rick Hansen Foundation.  This achievement was the result of more than a year of work with Doug.  Doug’s knowledge of the accessible built environment, thoughtful consultations, detailed reporting and guidance throughout the process was outstanding.  His knowledge and appreciation for the topic assisted us greatly in bettering our facility providing a valued learning experience.

Doug also helped us with a very recent initiative to create a Curbside Assistance area and was instrumental with assisting us with seating design and placement, amenities, signage and practical mobility aid training.

I look forward to a continued relationship with Doug as we view future improvements at YYJ with improved accessibility and a barrier-free lens”
